The Roots of Pet King Brands
Dog mom Pamela K. Bosco had a rescue German Shepard, Elizabeth, who suffered from chronic ear infections. Nothing was helping Elizabeth so she turned to her bioscientist brother, Michael Pellico, who was the formulator of Biotene® (later sold to GlaxoSmithKline) and other enzyme-based healthcare products for women.
After witnessing the rapid improvement and healing of Elizabeth’s ears, Bosco was inspired to turn ZYMOX into the market’s first enzyme-based pet care product. She seized the opportunity to offer her products when antibiotic resistance was a major concern not only for people, but also the pets they loved. Bosco launched Pet King Brands with three products that utilized the advanced enzyme technology of the patented LP3 Enzyme System, developed by Pellico.
