Help Penny Get Adopted
The COVID-19 pandemic has seen an uptick in pet adoptions and fostering across the United States, yet there are many cases of reported animal cruelty and animals still in need of a loving home. That is why Pet King Brands has decided to join forces with a rescue group based in Austin, Texas to help an abused and badly injured dog to sponsor her medical costs and assist in the campaign to help her find a forever home.
Pet King Brands’ President and owner, Pamela K Bosco, is an animal lover and animal welfare advocate who has been helping stray and injured animals all her life. She has also devoted her life’s work to helping animals live healthy happy lives. It was no surprise the company could not turn a deaf ear when the pleas for help sounded from Trapping, Rescue, and Pet Recovery Service, T.R.A.P.R.S., the group credited with bringing in Penny and facilitating her care and future adoption.
Penny is a one and half-year-old mastiff mix with beautiful copper coloring who was found in a field in Austin, Texas. She was underweight and suffering from horrific injuries due to suspected blunt force trauma and pellets lodged within her from a buckshot gun. She is now recovering from surgery and being boarded at the Sunset Canyon Veterinary Clinic in Dripping Springs, Texas. She is expected to make a full recovery and now the focus will be shifting to finding Penny a home.
Pet King Brands was aware that the costs to rehabilitate Penny could have proven to be a roadblock for future adoption. Now that this barrier has been lifted, the efforts can focus on finding her a home. The company will continue to campaign on Penny’s behalf because they are confident that one of their devoted followers will either be inspired to make Penny part of their family or will share her story with someone who can.
